At the time that this single was released, David Morales was reportedly paid about $50,000 and flown to MJ's recording studio to do his mixes there - making it the most expensive dance mix of the time. As for the product, yeah, I admit DM did a superb job on what may be considered a one-time duet with bro & sis - I can find hardly any faluts with the Classic Club Mix. The dub here is killer. The urban/rap mixes here are well done for their fields (I've been partial to Dave Hall's rub, which actually got radio airplay in Cleveland in the day).
