The catalogue # CDRWX174 is not a digipak. It is a gatefold cardboard cover.

Isla the latest from UK Based Portico Quartet is a challenging and at times uplifting expression of Modern Jazz. The drum patterns are all about the space between rythms, which are filled and exploited to good use. The minimal use of electronics add up perfectly to the mood of the album. The Hang creates beautiful and enchanting chord patterns throughout leaving its haunting presence felt and yearned for. The core of this effort is the saxophone which the player: Jack Wyllie uses to create many diverse sounds, from throaty almost vocal patterns to the floating sounds of "Shed Song".

Altogether Isla is a beautiful voyage. Discerning listeners will be rewarded with a true gem of a listening experience.
