The biggest problem with this album is that its a real mixed bag and it just isn't Low. Low is a masterpiece from top to tail, this just sounds like Low castoffs.
Dont get me wrong there is sum great stuff here. Beauty and the Beast, try not to get the chorus stuck in your head "My-my ,you can't say no to the Beauty and the Beast ",Moss Garden and Neukoln both amazing, as for V-2 Schneider it just isn't a very good ode to Kraftwerk. Listen to Kraftwerk instead, its a million times better.I wasnt sure about The Secret Life Of Arabia, its was either a work of genius or utter rubbish.I just could decide a first, but once you listened to the Amazing underated Loger you know its Genius. And that brings me to the title track. Again people say that this is Bowie's finest hour, but I find the song just ok.Not his worst but definitely not the best.
