A groundbreaking album. Very experimental for the time of its release and way ahead of its time. This must be among the first electronic albums. Bowie and Brian Eno were experimenting with different ways of composing songs, miles away from contemporary rock and pop. The sound throughout the album is pretty cold and unpersonal and the song titles are weird. Just take a look at "Always Crashing In The Same Car". Strangely enough the album even contained a hit single. "Sound And Vision" was received completely different by people. While to some it is cold and unpersonal, for others it is uplifting.
