Aphex Twin ‎– "Girl/Boy" E.P.

Horrible EP. You have Girl/Boy, which is the same version from the album RDJ. Milk Man is great and one of his best tracks. Then there are tracks 3,4 and 6. WTF? The "remixs" of Girl/Boy are too short and don't remind me of the original track at all. "Inkeys" is just plain stupid and "Beetles" is an OK track, but there just for fun I think. If you can find a way to download this EP, do so for the Milk Man track and leave the rest.

The picture of this release is the grave of his young brother deadborn. Richard has always been frightened by this picture in the saloon when he was a child, a grave with his name on it.

This song's named Girl boy song because Richard said there's songs for girls and songs for boys

I first heard this release at someones house in Manchester after being at Havok (frantic and disturbing acid techno night). Some guys were spinning random records and generally having a laugh, but as soon as this came on everyone stopped and listened hard. From the first orchestral strains RDJ achieves a melody of classical beauty that I have struggled to find in my dad's extensive classical music back catalogue. And when the spasticated percussion and efx go off, well that just about sealed it for me. An absolutely astonishing and downright poetic release that I'll never tire of listening to as long as I've got fully functioning auditory nerves, and emotions to go with them.
