Basement Jaxx ‎– Jump N' Shout

Jump N’ Shout by itself is a fine song, a Jah-ragga infused piece of house. But what makes this single stand out are the B-sides. “La Photo,” which features vocals from Dimitri From Paris, has a bit of the French vibe to it, but with the unmistakable Basement Jaxx touch: heavy bass line, samples thrown in here and there, and a funky, anything-goes attitude. “I Beg U” follows the same structure as “Bingo Bango” by with a more Caribbean feel, rather than Latin. Worth checking out for “La Photo” alone.
