Admittedly, the other tracks on this EP are rather brilliant. The cover of Snowblind is a rare treat, considering their lack of recorded cover songs, as is the track "Shame" which is, certainly, an usual collaboration. But on the whole, this single, along with the album it came from, said a lot about the reasons this band took a hiatus. It saddened me, but maybe they'll come back with a fresh outlook and return to that trademark System of a Down punch that we now they're all capable of. Who knows - Serj Tankian may even return to being the band's main vocalist - and let's hope he does! The nasal whine really doesn't suit them...
