The Alec Empire 12" of "Joga" is interesting mainly for the "Planet Of Ice" Remix, rare version of the track: quieter, but one can feel the fire under the ice! The two others, are noisy and disturbed and are almost similar. Art work cover is beautiful as usual!

I got this just for the Alec Empire remixes. Alec Empire really tears up the original here to where it sounds much like a dark thrashing soundscape of instruments in his usual style, just with Bjork's beautiful lyrics backing it up. I got to the 1 & 2 remixes and they both have the same playtime. After ripping and examining the peaks, they both appear to be exactly the same. Not sure what the point of that is.

Excelent. Both the breaks and 4/4 mix are top notch. One of the best mixes of her songs I've ever heard. The breaks mix makes good use of the vocal while the 4/4 mix uses the vocal in a more subtle way that makes it the more atmospheric of the two. Perfect in their respective genres.

The Alec Empire remixes are insane and not eveyone's cup of tea, but I'd especially recommend "The Planet of Ice" remix because it's subtle and much more interesting than the other two remixes.

All of Alec empires joga remixes; quite possibly the best hardcore techno remix to date. I first heard this song off of a chat friend that lives in new zealand, and he told me that this guy was one of the most popular artists in his area.
The beat and synth for this track is solid, but the remix is so much unlike the original that Alec deserves nearly all credit for it.
A great song overall, and it appears as if he is getting some recognition through it, it was many peoples top pick upon chatting with them.
