referencing There Is Nothing Left To Lose, 2xLP, Album, RE, 88697 98324-1
The 2011 vinyl reissue of There Is Nothing Left To Lose, as well as the other 2 I've purchased and listed to so far (Foo Fighters, The Colour And The Shape) is, simply put, excellent. The vinyl itself is quiet, the mastering and lacquer cutting superbly executed by Chris Bellman. I have the CD version of this album, and this vinyl reissue smokes it. My only gripe is that - with the exception of the first self-titled album, these are all double albums, in non-gatefold sleeves. Having said that, the quality of the audio more than makes up for it. I was quite skeptical (I usually am when it comes to recent vinyl reissues) but hearing this and the other two LP reissues I bought, I'm heading out to get the reissues of One By One and In Your Honor - which I have, though it's the 4-LP box; it'll be interesting to hear the now 2-LP version).
