being 11 in 1997 I loved "brick," years following, this release has been one of my most prized acquired tastes.. (i even have bought into dubstep, the L.A. beat scene. ((point being most music I liked then is 'old' minus ska, soul and reggae of course))..) Intelligent writing (they made a song about an abortion a top 40 staple for at least a year) to showing that Billy Joel character what piano rock was all about. This release never gets old. Innovative beyond belief with only three members providing a roller coaster of emotion that never bears anything but honesty.
