My copy has a typo on the rear tray track listing. The last track is mispelt 'Spirits Drifiting'. Shoddy proofreading by the EMI Artwork team!

One of Eno's first great (pre-)ambient pieces of work, starting his break from the rock-orientated works he had been associated with before. It took four days in the studio before Eno started any actual work for the album, when, in order to finally arrive at new ideas for the project, he decided to consult his famous Oblique Strategies instructional cards.

Point of interest, the title track "Another Green World" is the theme tune to the BBC long-running arts TV program, "Arena", which has been running since 1975 on BBC Two and latterly on BBC Four television channels.

A remarkable album, made right on the edge between Eno's glamorous rock-work (i.e. "Here come the warm jets") and his following ambient-pieces. One can say this is Eno's best album, if absolute values count, but at least it is one of his most homogenous and hermetic works. A brilliant backing band and wonderful songs make this album a must.
