- Just to jump on the bandwagon here... Easily one of the best pressings of any record I have in a large collection. Almost zero surface noise and a great dynamic range for a vinyl record. And of course it's Sonic Youth in their prime. I still see a few of these sealed and as new in record shops everywhere. Grab one if you can (but have some spare HDPE sleeves to switch out for the scratchy paper ones this comes in off the shelf).

I love Dirty which I purchased on release and I love this even more, the b side tracks like Generic, Hendrix Necro etc just fit seamless with the original album sequence, an absolute great box set- For those wondering from afar, there’s nothing wrong with the record/sleeve, it’s just that “Shoot” is misspelled “Sheet” on an inner label (of B1 I believe?)
Album rules, great pressing, cheers! - Fucking stellar! Should the inner sleeves be better? Yes! But I’ll spend the extra dollar to make it right. Mind blown!
- I think this is a very good pressing. Since I am far from a vinyl expert, what I can definitely say is that this record sounds very dynamic and makes you realize that this is an important album.
- Excellent repressing! I didn't want to think there could be that much difference between this and the 2015 European reissue. I don't usually do this but I decided to experiment and see if the hype was true, and so ordered another copy of Dirty, this time the 2016 American pressing. And yes, I can say that it is just a little better. There's nothing wrong with the 2015 issue, but this one just breathes a little more, there's more room around the instruments, the vocals feel a little warmer, and the top end is alive. All of this makes this a very listenable, enjoyable repressing. You can't really go wrong with the 2015 issue--it's dead quiet and dynamic as well, but if you want a pressing with just that little extra something, grab this one if you can find it. I think it is currently OOP.
- Comes with nice polyvinyl lined paper inner sleeves. Vinyl is flat and heavy and noise-free. Sound is rich and full. Artwork looks perfect. Excellent pressing.
