gusta, Nov 06, 2007 The expectations are high if you decide to remix the famous Juan Atkins track. However remix isn’t the right term since almost all the tracks on this compilation are luckily far away from the original. I can only hear some elements from the original in the Soultek track. So you can’t say these are remixes, interpretation would be a better word. I think that’s the right approach and it shows respect for the Originator. So far, the others releases on this label were good but – dare we say it – a bit boring. This double pack however will be remembered, not for the coloured vinyl but for the superb music, well done!
