Reviews & Discussion

Rated 4/5

Overall, this is a fun compilation simply for the novelty of hearing such wildly different versions of hip-hop songs we all know so well originally. Taken on their own merits, however, many of the tracks are rather flat. Standouts include the "Jump Around" cover and Institute of Technologies "King of Rock" version, which has a clear sense of humor without dissing the mighty DMC.
