Dntels track samples Depeche Mode, not a Smiths song, contrary to numerous reviewers claims. The mis-information was spread about to dodge a possible law suit. Jimmy Tamborello layers the intro to "But Not Tonight" into his piece quite nicely, not as an odd mash-up. Rather a sad little ditty, matched up well with Arne Van Petegems "This Is All Wrong", an odd mixing of chopped-up hip-hop beats and vocals with the usual "sad bastard" Styrofoam minimal electro styles.
