I am not happy about it, but I simply can't rate this release higher than 2/5. The intention about the album is great, but when I listened through the whole album I got an unwell feeling. The album is 12 versions of the same track with the same cliché lyrics, and suddenly it strikes me! Could Kate Nash be Lily Allen's sister, niece or something like that? Kate Nash is a total ripoff of Lily Allen's music, lyrical content and partly voice. Actually bordering on plagiarism. One of my biggest music disappointments in 2007. Not only because of her consistent Lily Allenism, but also because this type of music and lyrics has been heard so damn often before, and it really isn't that good.
