A great collection of remixes previously available only on 12" phonograph records. If you were to buy all theses records, you may easily pay the price this is going for! Good luck finding Maneater, the extended club mix. That version was not available in this song's heyday, although there were some DJ-Only reworkings of the LP version.

Maneater(Extended Club Mix) - Though this version never saw a release in the song's heyday, this is a remix of the original production of this song with a few different track tweakings. Most notably, the saxophone solo does not have the echo "answering" effect like on the LP version.

I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) - The original 1981 remix by Robert Wright. Not too hard to find as it appears on some 12" compilations as well as the remastered editions of some of H2O's material.

Kiss On My List (Previously Extended Mix) - Like Maneater, this remix never saw a release in this song's heyday. A Bob Clearmountain remix for this song does appear as a b-side for 'Say it isn't so' but it is not too much longer than the original version. This one clocks in over 5 minutes. Again, this remix is of the original production.

Adult Education (Special Extended Mix) - this version was available only on an import and promotional 12" singles while the shorter version of this mix made it out as a single version. This mix expounds on the song's rock elements, unlike the Jellybean remix which focuses of the Club. Look for punched up guitars and drums.

Your Imagination (Disco Remix) - This is the 1982 remix by Robert Wright. On the actual 12" single there was no identifier or title for the remix, just like "I Can't Go For That" did not have any reference to what type of version it was. The fact it was on a 12" single usually was enough to lead one to believe it was an extended version. As with "I Can't Go For That" the remix brings the music and vocals to the forefront instead of heavy midrange which gave the original mix the feel of the song being performed in a very small room.

Method of Modern Love (Extended Mix) - From the one who gave us the remix of 'Out of Touch', Arthur Baker works his magic on this hit. This remix is not as easily found these days as 'Out.." which can be downloaded as well as found on a remsatered edition of the "Big Bang Boom" album. This version finds it's release on CD here.

Out of Touch (Dub Version) - Part of this version was edited together with the vocal version and "Dance On Your Knees" for the Video mix. By itself, this version is pretty mindless but for one wishing to create their own special remix, it adds a wealth of material to do such with.

Missed Oppurtunity (Unlimited Mix)
Downtown Life (Downtown Remix) - these remixes appear on a Japanese import Ep. But if you can't track that down, here they are again.

I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) (Ben Liebrand Remix) - This was a rather disappointing remix for me, considering Liebrand's work
in the late 1980's to the early '90's. This sounds like he merely took the LP version and lengthened the intro while adding some new instrumentation over it. You already know how this song builds up from just the beats than brings in the bassline and than builds from there. The vocals and music have the same mix treatment with lots of midrange to give the feel of a small room. Toward the end of the song, Liebrand cuts back into what sounds like the intro section with a little creative editing to create a breakdown. The mix returns to the part where it abruptly cuts into this breakdown and fades out. This was a remix for DMC, a remix service which is well-known for being able to gain use of the original master tapes (for older recordings) or the individual tracks for a recording and create a whole new remix. Unfortunately, this sounds like the LP version with a little added instrumentation, not bad but not what I hoped.

Jingle Bell Rock. Here you get two different versions one sung by Daryl and the other by John. Now blend them together for a duet and call it the Hall & Oates remix. HaHa.
