kentandrew, Dec 11, 2008 This mix, as it is described as being live, really sounds that way, as if the output was recorded directly to a dat tape or something, because the decibels are so low on this cd. If I were to pick, I would say that the spirit by aquaplex and seadog by clanger are the best songs on each disk. One thing many critics forget about dj mixes are that the djs take into account the current mood of the crowd and that the music is played with much larger speakers than the ones equipped with you at home. So remember, the next time you go out to a club, to look at the number of ohms written on the back of a speaker of yours and compare it with one of that residing next to your home stereo. This will tell you something about the crisp clean sound encountered at home whcih turns into raunchy & sweaty funkiness at the heaving, pounding dance floor. Was the above review useful to you?
