As the album description implies, this is an experiMENTAL release. While it is true that all the tracks follow the same formula, it only adds to the constantly progressive sound of the music, and leaves with a sense of unity, rather than a bunch of scattered tunes summoned on one disc. Pretty hard too, not really banging and roaring, but rather sullen and murky. The kind of music you can really enjoy while melting into one with your favorite screen saver. My favorite tracks is the long, but fantastically constructed SAGA. In fact, my only complaint is that most of the tracks are too short. On a personal level, I would have prefered more builiding, and therefeore ultimately more rewarding numbers like the above mentioned one. For all of you who still fancy some good ol leaden machinery over subtle and slick music crawling at a snails pace, you should be one home ground here.
