La Boom are Jan Eißfeldt of "Absolute Beginner" and Kaspar "Tropf" Wiens, both pretty well-known in the German hiphop sector. But this album is different. Where youd usually expect bass-laden tracks with hiphop vocals, you get light-footed dub-inspired music with hardly ANY vocals that just wont fit into any drawer - anyway, where would you put a mélange of reggae, dub, pop and freakyness (listen closely to the weird vocal bits on "Der beste Mensch von Hannover" and youll know what I mean).
If you liked Kruder & Dorfmeister "The K Sessions" you definitely need to check this one out...laid-back couch music has never been so much fun!
