One of my personal all time favourite lps.
Some of the tunes are simply brilliant. Especially Loewenzahn Luftwaffe with its clanging hi's and uplifting melody and Rueckenschwimzipper, which transforms and progresses from a chaotic sounding piece of music into a straightforward techno tune with 'chaotic' breaks and a moody melody.
The album as a whole does perfectly well in transmitting that eulbergsche vibe - with the use of intelligent beat structures and beautiful but subtle melodies. Not a single tune comes across as a filler - some however are on the more mellow/dreamy tip. One thing that struck me with this album more than with (nearly) any other was that the tunes' titles are perfectly matching the vibe within that very tune.
All that adds up to the overall impression the album leaves the listener with; what a masterpiece!
