Don't get misguided by the strumming sound of this record when you first hear it. Listening to it for the first time may make you think it is sort of simple country, folk or even schmaltzy music. You could not be more wrong! After the third or fourth time listening to it, it starts to capture you and the excellent guitar playing is beginning to drag you deeper and deeper into it. This is Fogerty at his best. Back to his roots of CCR he is presenting excellent songs that make you wanna move and you cannot stand still. Country, folk, rock, blues... it's everything and way to good to be overlooked. My fovourites are Gunslinger, Summer Of Love and Natural Thing. Give them a try if you like handmade music with catchy tunes that don't annoy your ear even after hearing them again and again.
