This compilation is a prime example of poor planning and misinformation. Veridis Quo and Around The World do not contain any samples, nevermind the samples given. Armand Van Helden's remix of Da Funk is what samples Give It Up For Love, not Daft Punk's original, and the part he sampled is not even present in the radio edit that appears on this album. The Oliver Cheatham remix is incorrectly titled, and one of the songs was not even sampled by Daft Punk, but the one-off supergroup Stardust that Bangalter happened to be a member of.
The person who put this together just read the Daft Punk post on Palms Out, took it as gospel and saw an opportunity to make a quick buck. It is blatantly obvious that there was no research done whatsoever, and that the compiler does not even understand what sampling is.Was the above review useful to you? (report)
