Nothing in particular to focus on with this Soul Pop Disco classic, since everything about this is pretty darn PERFECT: the arrangement, the musicianship, the lyrics, Geraldine Hunt's fantastic voice. The "break" is killer too: what an amazing bass-line, what great string-section stabs! It's not particularly ground-breaking or futuristic, it's just such a GREAT song that it stands the test of time and always will, no matter how soul-less or overly-electronic music eventually becomes. No wonder this is featured on David Mancuso Presents The Loft volume 2, and was also a staple at The Paradise Garage for 11 years.
