one of the most amazing releases i own... my favourite band that i keep coming back to and this could well be my favourite ever release... very cold electronics- which is surprising given that they are generated by analogue gear... these tracks are pretty minimal and highly atmospheric with sensitive use of looped news/documentary samples and brilliantly processed vocals... sometimes the combination is truly frightening- especially to those not used to electronic music as dark music form... perfect examples of this unease are 'insane terror' and 'immortal flesh'... creepy!
and the box is beautifully presented- gripping artwork and photography...
at their peak marc verhaeghen and dirk ivans were sublime... faultless...
