This is an outstanding release by Delinquent Dialect. 100% original sounding electro thats hard as nails. I feel as an artist DD has really carved a unique and evil sound thats far darker than anything his contemporaries are churning out. DDs earlier releases seemed to hint of this direction but never really hit it for me, however, this his latest offering really is the nutz! The opening track is a minimal drum workout like nothing youl have heard before. The beat morphing in and out like its alive, with spazodic glitches thrown in for good measure. Juxtaposed with smooth yet abstract pads and strings! I notice the run out grooves states its done on hardware, you can sure hear the grit in DDs productions and with Spak 01 it really adds an atmosphere missing from other artist software only electro. This certainly is not a piece of nostalgic retro hark back to the 80s...Its modern and futuristic. And OMG The Numbers is an incredible club stormer. WOW. Youve got to hear this on a loud and decent sound system to fully appreciate what this track is all about. Simple put, it sounds immense! Get hold of this EP for these two tracks alone.
