Kimberly Ames was the girl who sang the song Baby Doll. Ms. Ames was a fashion model from New York. She was asked by Mr. Colin Campsie to sing the song Baby Doll since the other girls in the studio at the time, which are the ones you see on the cover of the record, could not sing. Mr. Campsie then proceeded to use these girls who did not sing one word of Baby Doll, as the cover models to the record. There were lengthy law suits that were made against Mr. Campsie's actions, all were won by Ms. Ames. Timothy White, the wonderful music writer wrote an article in Musician magazine back in the 1980's concerning Kimberly and this song. It's unfortunate that Mr. Campsie lie's and cheat's just to give himself a little name. Jack Shepard
