Notes:	Recorded at Snarsh, New York City November 1997 and April 1998. Contains the uncredited hidden track "How Deep Is Your Love". From the old IDA website: "After years of touring together, sitting around and playing guitars and singing together, they finally did it - The Ida Retsin Family Volume One, with a couple moments of Ida Retsin Beekeeper Family thrown in for good measure. With band incestuousness in full effect, the songs were recorded in Matthew's apartment - the basement of a garment factory in Chinatown (Beekeeper and Ida's practice space at the that time). The room had no ventilation, natural light, or oxygen. All tracking was done with gas masks, flashlights, oxygen tanks, and acoustic guitars. Matthew engineered the sessions so that they managed to sound like they were recorded around a campfire in the woods or at least on somebody's back porch. Cynthia brought the rock in "Sad Song Wisconsin", Karla let the Greek chorus visit Snarsh during "Be Careful", Matthew and Liz's duet on Fleetwood Mac's "Save Me a Place" was just like the white winged dove. Dan and Tara hinted at a future soft-rock experimentalism trajectory with their touching (touched?) reading of the Bee Gees classic "How deep is your love?"."
