'Songs to Remember' is as it says, a collection of perfectly written mood pieces which will serve a listener for decades to come - in a tipically subversive way Green Gartside only can. Despite the lyrics obscured by political connotations, this is easy listening highly recommended - ok, with some disco inbetween, called 'Sex' and a irresistable Simon-&-Garfunkel-esque 'Jacques Derrida' bursting out on one of the group's most famous funk and socialist raps altogether. Enjoy.
