Disuye looked into a number of different on-line stores in order to sell "Rendition" but after trying numerous (and ultimately flawed, buggy, badly implemented or just plain ugly) sites the content was uploaded and left un-promoted for a period of 2 months just to see what kind of page hits they would get, then they deleted their accounts.

Most of this testing was finished by January 2008 although it looks like the deletion of their Fuzzcom account was overlooked and (by some oversight) music was left available to purchase. It should have just been available to preview. Not sure what happened there.

Long story short: The above album is the official 13 track release, but this shouldn't be sold. As a result it is missing artwork & bonus material.

As for the music, it is not breaks. It is a new Dan F, it is not a mere compilation of 13 dance tracks, and I highly recommend listening to some previews in advance. It is totally different, but it is also innovative, musically interesting, twisted and weird in a good way. It is far more than a breaks/minimal Dan F with a polished 2007/2008 sound. It's political, he risked a lot, tried things that I was not used to ... And his revolution is a total success.

I guess there will be quite a lot of people that end up not liking it. I am loving it, praising it, showing it to friends. He combines artish sounds with wonderful music, sounds right and pretty cool. My personal cult classic.
