kvogel, Jul 01, 2009 Under 5 stars? What are you kidding? This is explosive! Forget all the trendy crap that sprung up in its wake, this music made for the love of it by DFA and co. The taut punk-funk of Radio 4 and Le Tigre, the sublime Metro Area, the classic House of Jealous Lovers remixed by MAs Morgan Geist, stripped-down acid house, psych wig-out, the superbly deranged Playgroup, and James Murphys genius production - its all here. Varied, musical, fresh and downright funky, this was a major inspiration to myself and friends at the time and a lost gem. Big up!Was the above review useful to you? (report)
