Ben Watkins probably knew he would get some unfavorable reviews with this album and you have to respect him for doing whatever he wants musically. There is a blatant disregard for genres here, which has become the Juno Reactor modus operandi since the turn of the century. That said, as a long time fan of this man, I just can't get into any of the tracks on this album. Questionable vocals, guitars, gospel choruses and live-but-not-really-live drum loops dominate most of these tracks, and while I'll always consider Watkins a top notch producer, I consider this more of a personal experiment rather than something embodying the Juno Reactor concept. Your mileage may vary of course. For me, I'll keep the spirit alive by revisiting the albums from the 90s.
