This album was at the centre of a controversy involving Portishead. Someone expertly repackaged it and titled it "Pearl", claiming it was a new album from Portishead. Fans of Portishead often discussed the "obscure new Portishead album". While the album doesnt sound that much like Portishead, when I bought it I fell for the hoax, thinking Portishead had stripped down their sound and lightened up! Anyway, its a good album, but definitly NOT Portishead. Beware!
