From an interview with Double Dee & Steinski on Coldcut's Solid Steel radio show (26/08/2002):
Double Dee: "...when Steve and I did the James Brown thing, we said 'we gotta press this up' so we pressed up on our own, it was either 500 or 700 12 inches..."
Steinski: "Was it that many?!"
Double Dee: "Yeah."
Interviewer: "Of lesson 2 or..?"
Steinski: "Lessons 1 and 2"
Double Dee: "Lesson 1 on one side, with our phone numbers on it"
Steinski: "Double Dee and Steinski Mastermixes"
Double Dee: "Yeah and it said DDS 1, was the record number"
Double Dee: "Yeah, it was the first record that we pressed up on our own. We put our own phone numbers on it 'lets see who calls'. And we really didn't get that many calls, but that's how we met DJ E.T. and a few other people..."
