Speedy J - Tanga

The A side, "Tannga" is a monumental club stormer of a track, clocking in a few seconds under eleven minutes, with a fairly large build up commencing shortly and leading to a first climax around halfway through, followed by a break down, and then the grand finale, via a second, not that different from the first climax, but equally effective in moulding yet another explosion, prior to guiding the track to its ending.
The sounds used throughout the track are pretty cool, dating from an era when Speedy's flirting with hard, club friendly techno still had enough edge to devastate dance floors while simultaneously impressing and getting all around approvals from more demanding and sophisticated listeners.
The flip side has what appear to be edited, and slightly modifeid versions of the A side, and both are nice. The first one of the two is more suitable for using in the mix, due to its shorter lenghth and on point structure. The latter is more laid back when compared to the previous two, although still packing a punch. Great stuff. Highly recommended, especially if you were impressed by his Krekc 12" from 2002, and I know I was.
