Actually, judging by the sound, this one has not been produced by Ernestus/von Oswald (who are not longer working tgether) but by multi-talented German producer Shed. If you listen closely to Shed's productions on his Soloaction label, you will surly find similarities... and Shed's sound is quite unique. I wouldn't bet my head, however I am almost certain that he's the man behind it. Now I hope that Hardwax' very own Men in Black won't come to my door...

Could this record be the new Basic Channel release ?

It's highly doubtful, but if you look closer, it's not that impossible : they didn't released anything since See Mi Yah, they love pseudonyms, and it comes directly from the Hard Wax store. But hey, the tracks on this 12" are awesome, and they could very well bear the Basic Channel trademark, with this crafty, crispy machine sound that instantanely makes you wanna dance.

And this is a sign that musn't be ignored...
