plusplus7, Dec 01, 2003 kid4today, the label never approached boards for a track for any release and were never threatened with legal action.
The facts: a) unknown to the label, it turns out that Hexagon Sun is the name of the boards studio and that they had a track called Blue Hexagon Sun, b) a few people had extrapolated that maybe the artist Hexagon Sun was BOC recording under a pseudonym and buzzed a few mailing lists, c) BOC (possibly) got upset about it.
The artist no longer records under this name as he had never intended to confuse anyone and ironically the track was a favourite of Warp DJs.
