I normally never bother to write reviews, but I felt the other review does not adequately represent this release. I guess it comes down to taste here, I mean its sort of silly for someone who loves repetitive percussion, rhythms, and etc. to have a problem with repetitive vocals. Its all about when and how you use any of these tracks, I personally love the repetitive vocals in this release and the productions are absolutely unique and stand out amongst the cliche tracks that have been classified under the genre of minimal.
But genres are boring, who cares, despite what this release might be claimed to be, it is has a classic feel to it and as far as Im concerned this release captures that wonky hip feel of "bourgeoisie" techno. (I say this because I feel the minimal genre as of late totally reminds me of that absurdist style of affluent art, where they think they are so cool because they are so silly and rich). Maybe some of that makes sense.
