Liam Howlett purposely released this record under a different guise because people blamed him for killing RAVE and bringing the hardcore scene over ground and into the charts. While doing an interview with MIXMAG the photographer asked Liam if he could take a picture of Liam with a gun to his head for his own personal collection and Liam agreed ! To Liams bemusement on the front page of the next MIXMAG edition was that photograph with a large caption aking "Has Liam Howlett killed RAVE ??" For those of you who have seen the video for FIRE Liam throws this magazine into the fire at the end of the video ! MIXMAG continued to bad mouth not only Liam but his production ability !! In 1993 a white label was doing the rounds entitled EARTHBOUND 1, MIXMAG immediately picked up on this white label and gave it great reviews and they couldnt wait to find out who was behind the two EARTHBOUND white labels ! Eventually it came out that they were produced by THE PRODIGY, the same guy they slated for so long, Im sure that theyre still trying to get theyre feet out of theyre mouths !!
