On the face of it, the Beatmasters remixing an Eskimos & Egypt track sounds like a recipe for disaster! You might expect something between hip-house and trash-metal techno rave. Think again!
The 'Beatmasters Graced-Elic Mix' is a sublime piece of acid trance which given the fact that it came out in 1992, qualifies it for visionary status. The 303s are wonderfully tweaked, the beats are tight, and the spoken vocal ("It's a future style, yet there's no sign of justice") is about as true to modern day life as it gets. Overall the production may sound a little dated (not the 303s though), but of course this can still cut the mustard if used correctly.
