Overall, sound quality here has improved greatly from previous albums. Everything sounds huge and powerfull, melodies are agressive and epic, beats pounding and hit hard. Milan Fras has also greatly improved as a singer here, even though he stays on the few songs he sings on in a chanting monotonous voice.
Personally NATO is one of my favourite Laibach albums along with Opus Dei and Volk and i can really recommend it for anyone looking for something different in either techno or industrial. The album isn't too long, has plenty of variation and, thanks to covers, easy to listen through. Just not mistake it as a simple compilation of (on the surface rather silly) covers. There is plenty of depth in this album to explore, like in majority of Laibach's albums. Brilliant!
