Jesper Dahlbäck ‎– Summer Jam Madness EP

To call a song "simple and effective" might be a bit of a cliché but there's simply no other way to describe ’Painomadness’. It’s so utterly, insanely great! I know many reviews made a reference to Mr. G when reviewing this EP and I think that Mr G’s ‘Moments’ is one of those few songs which has as addictive piano loop as this one has. But make no mistake; the whole EP is utter quality. ‘Rhodesmadness’ is geat peace of tech house and ‘Stringmadness’ strips things down and sounds almost like a downtempo song – well, not really, but anyways. Tuomas Salmela adds his own production skills on his Phonogenic remix but this time around it just doesn’t stand out, even tough his techy mix is nice addition. I truly, from heart, recommend this EP.

Swedish master of all things funky, Jesper Dahlback makes his debut contribution to Ralph Lawson’s 20/20 Vision discography. From silky deep tech house (Rhodesmadness) to lush almost broken beat (Stringmadness) and a Mr. G styled grinder (Pianomadness), there is nothing but pure class from top to bottom.
