Notes

Side A has an extra "hidden" track (not mentioned on the label) which features a chopped-up dutch radio interview that Robin "Jaydee" Albers did with Joost De Lijser about the (lack of) popularity of Detroit techno in Holland and some added Dmitri Shostakovich strings. Unfortunately only Dutch speaking people understand the joke...
Track Just In Time has been inspired by My Mine's Hypnotic Tango.

Ouch, I simply love this one. This is the best of what 1994 has to offer from the acid techno side : it even goes a bit toward some hypnotic acid, trancey in a marvellous way. The main track (Just In Time) is a variation on My Mind's "Hypnotic Tango" synth line, but unlike what Carl Craig did with 69, it really gets transformed by the way the acid lines evolves around it. Even the more fast-paced track here (like Handbook Of Plastic Surgery) have a very deep techno and ambient feel that makes them unique.
Definitely the kind of tracks that wraps around you and takes you on a sonic travel. 5 stars.
