Matti Laamanen (aka Cosmicman) delivers yet another cleverly energetic and uplifting trance remix. His work has a distinctive sound which is a clever mixture of the the "wet-sounding", short + crisp bass beats typical of artists such as Ronski Speed and artist on the Anjunabeats label (eg. Endre "Kollocain" and POS "Remember"), and the lively "crash" at the beginning of every 16th bar, associated with classic Ferry Corsten productions from 1999-2002 :)
Energy levels are kept high throughout the intro, and the breakdown is just gorgeous!! The lovely chilled melody is similar to Solar Stone's "Seven Cities" and just as good. When the track kicks in again, its simply superb and will have you reliving Ibiza memories from last summer :)
The Harry Peat remix meanwhile is a kind of funky/proggy affair which for me isnt all that special, and doesnt retain many elements of the original... not even the main melody!! You wouldnt think it had anything to do with Mike Shiver's original mix but is quite interesting and would happily suite hardcore James Holden fans.
