Reviews & Discussion

Review by Mad_Vinnie Mar 15, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
I "Freak'd" out when I heard the title track of this release on a Humvee commercial in 2005. I love the song, but it was a bit unsettling to hear it trying to sell me a gas guzzling urban assault vehicle. Oh well, at least I can say I'm "underground" enough to have heard it a full year before the general public did!

Freak as the title says is going to make you FREAK! Devastating bass, and half way of the track a part going insane with beats everywhere, and when it's getting too much, too noisy, too high, you get back too that good old bass you can feel all through your body. Maybe the best cut of 2004! Don't listen to it, just feel that bass!

One of the true genre influencing masters of the ‘rave’ sound, LFO makes his mark once again on this fantastic track. Tweaking, twisting and coaxing every last ounce of funkiness out of his instruments, this track (as the vocals rightfully proclaim), “…is going to make you freak.”
