The grinding nature and abstract sounds continue with this release of Scandinavina 7. The upfront nature of the percussion makes for uncomfortable listening while the deep analog textures give a sense of balance.

On track B1 - this contrast is readily apparent in the song
Avalanche Control. The rolling nature of the nearly subsonic bass sounds creates an a fill for parts of the song that are devoid of sound. It also sharply contrasts with the higher pitched analog sounds that permeate this song.

Track B2 is quite different in its approach. It is rather tame in comparison to the other songs on this release. It is neither satisfying, nor interesting.

A1 - is electro in nature. The song consists of rolling basslines with repeating vocals supplemented with a reversing type sound and deep Pro-One type sounds. Luckily the song doesnt stagnate, and Neil is able to keep us interested throughout the track by raising the pitch or the introduction of other bass melodies.
