This is one of my favorite Coil 'albums' ever. As a concept, it's the band vs. their equipment, but it has some of the most electronic sounding tracks ever from Coil. The drones, rhythms, and sequences ebb & flow showing a fascination with the growing IDM sound of the time. Coil was one of the influencial bands on that scene, as evidenced by the likes of Autechre, etc. and it's only fitting they would contribute back to that sound.
