It's always a pleasure when an unknown artist comes out of nowhere with a stunning debut. This one on dBridge's superb Exit label is one of those. While it may get pigeonholed as Drum n Bass, in truth it is an expertly handled collision of IDM, ambient and a dash of classic synth-pop which is held together by a perfectly constructed Drum n Bass backdrop. This is clearly a producer who knows electronic music inside out becuase this is one of the most successful fusion of styles I have heard in a long time. Those expecting dancefloor friendly D&B will be disappointed but if it's a late night headphone journey you are looking for this one will not disappoint. Top class.
