This is a weird one. An early 80s leftfield disco/new wave outing from Yoko Ono, which sounds at home alongside the likes of Arthur Russell and Atmosfear, played by Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage and an unlikely anthem. Apparently Yoko Ono herself was invited to the Garage to witness this, and was a convert to the flourishing underground club scene.
At one point on this record, it sounds like she is vomiting through an echo chamber. The ending is really cool, it strips down to just this odd little monologue, and the rhythm section is tight, sparse and relentless.
John Lennon didn't produce it either, but it is in his memory.
