It is nice and seductive idea, especially for people who are Maiden lovers as well as electro music, like I do. But most of the pieces sound like cheesy midi tunes, and I have the feeling of a easy or incomplete work. The first time I heard the record in 2003, those spoiled my whole listening and I really found it crap. Now I'm glad to hear it again and discover that I can appreciate pieces such as Macondo and its electro pop sweat version of Purgatory with a nice female voice, Ra-x for his very nostalgic computer vintage "Wasted Years", Maxx Klaxon "Die with your boots on", and Rude66 hypnotic "Killers" .

This is great crossover concept, and for the most part sounds sweet. The only track that didn't really do much was Legowelt's rendition of "Run to the Hills" which is one of THE Maiden tracks, but unfortunately is just semi-loopy techno. Maxx Klaxon's cabaret-esque cover of "Die With Your Boots On" gets girls to take out the trash, and rub it all over their precious bodies. That's how awesome it is.

It's also cool that Maiden like this album, and really I hope this kind of open-mindedness towards music continues. Because Maiden-kids+Electro-kinder= party central.

Nice idea - unfortunately it comes off sounding like a collection of cheesy midi renditions of the original tracks.
